Hi,

i also experienced the same problem. Other forum says to disable the google services to be restored to the original version but that creates other problems as the app is used for other purposes.

I had a somewhat similar issue ytd with my LTE ver.

Device was asleep for 10hrs ytd and there was a 10% drop in battery usage, 85% of it coming from Google Play Services.

Restarted it before I went to sleep and the battery drop just 1% after 7 hours of sleeping.

so try restarting the device. I not sure if the problem will come back though.

Yes it happened to me too.
The Google services thing. I just restarted my device cuz I was unsure of what to do.
But it was still draining my battery... But a few hours after I restarted the drain stopped and everything went back to normal :)

Just realized that amazon is selling the nexus 7 2013 16gb for only usd$199.99( down from usd$229. Even cheaper than play store with free delivery) , 32gb for usd$239.99( down from usd$269)...

For those who wants a good offer, this is the time to grab it!
