1. clear data for Google services framework
2. force close google services framework
3. restart nexus 7
4. check update

i got the update doing the above..

Yes it worked. Finally forced update to 4.4.

Upgraded to 4.4 OTA on Saturday, touch screen is much more responsive right now. However, hate the new email format. Cannot no longer drag messages to different folder, have to click on move.

That's my 2 observation so far, the rest of the things like not much difference.

My advice is dont get it even if it's tempting. Too much risk involved. No contact list, no reviews etc. Even if you get your set, if there's anything wrong like DOA, I wonder how good the support is going to be.

Anybody here use Buzz Launcher for their Nexus 7 2nd gen? I accidentally removed one of the custom prefixed icons on the home screen and I can't get it back.. I've been trying the whole evening yesterday.

And is there a way to edit the app drawer? The font is bold for all the app names in the drawer and I don't like it, I prefer them to be not bolded.
