Those who ordered the Nexus 7 from Amazon that got stuck with i-Parcel since Dec 6, how did you resolve that?

Amazon refunded the amount to me, and said that they will honour the original $199 price, and ask me to re-order with another seller and send them the order number.

The problem is, all other Nexus 7 sellers in Amazon does not ship direct to Singapore. I will have to use a freight forwarder. But that defeats the original deal I had earlier (US$199 + free shipping) to Singapore.

I wrote back to Amazon today asking them to propose a solution, with the condition that I get my replacement Nexus 7 at the original deal i.e. US$199 with free shipping to Singapore.

Did you guys just accepted the refund and that's it?

i have pre empt amazon that i may not receive on time. mine still at cardlstat. they say their side still reflect on time. so only after my 26 december dateline,if no show, then chat w them again.

when that happens im going to screw them upside down cause i gave preventive measure in hope they launch global priorty for me....

How do you confirm that the orders were lost in transit? Did you get your n7 shipped via iparcel as I currently have a package which was supposed to be delivered via speedpost. I can track the iparcel no from speedpost website but there's no update still though amazon's delivery date is supposed to be 20th Dec :(

Looks like those exported on 6th Dec n expected delivery date 13th Dec no hope liao...

I am also one of the victim too... :s12:

Just wanted to share this experience. I dropped Amazon an email whenever they fail to meet the expected delivery date each time. From 13 dec to 18 to 20 and now 23 dec... Anyway from the pass 3 emails i sent, i screwed them twice. For each time, they compensated me with a US$20 on next purchase discount. Now i have given up hope in this tablet... really sian half already. Since they have refunded me too, i just got myself a LG G Pad an hour ago. With the US$40, i also just ordered a 64GB micro sd card. Paid only S$16+ for it including delivery.

I am a happy man now. :D

The question is where the shipment goes to? Surely it must be lying somewhere. Perhaps some other person from another side gets to keep it. Since it's just written off as lost just like it.

Just wondering.

May I know how much it costs?

One more thing, when you confirmed your N7 was lost in transit was i-parcel the courier? Did you manage to track it via the speedpost website?

Got it at $438.
Seriously no one, speedpost, i-parcel or Amazon could give me a definite answer on where is our parcel. Amazon did a refund back to me and in the event if my parcel do shows up, they requested me to send it back to them. Details i won't list it here.
Nothing has been updated on Speedpost for my case.

so is this the google play edition? LG is famous for the firmware "updates"

It's the SD card supported edition. =:p

So I assume that nothing showed up on speedpost.. but for my case the tracking no shows up on speedpost so I'm not too sure how long more I should wait before contacting amazon for a refund.. the expected delivery date is on 20th dec

If in any case the parcel should reach me eventually, it's damn troublesome to send it back as I ordered the seagate backup plus hdd.. big big box if you know what i mean

Same. My Speedpost has not been updated since i first saw that on 3 Dec till now. That's why i totally give up hope on it already. In total, think i made 3 calls to Speedpost, sent 2 emails to i-parcel and 3 or 4 to Amazon. Give up...

Nobody knows?

opensurface. cheapest liao.

LTE get locally. as price difference not that much, plus if got problem with set, u send in to ASUS service centre is better than u ship it over, although if u send to Google themselves, they will usually ship a "BNIB" to you first then u need to ship it back to them at ur own cost.

for WIFI, just get from Amazon, don't bother getting it locally.
