You shouldn't classify stable under Nexus, Exynos, TI OMAP, SnapDragon, Tegra.

Heck, nexus or exynos shouldn't even be in that classification, depdending which point you're looking from.

Every device is stable the way the manufacturer SELLS it.

It's what you do after that causes it to be stable or not.

I for one can tell you no matter how great a device is, it can still be unstable.

The discussion is about CUSTOM roms/kernels, in this case, ParanoidAndroid.

The chipset matters, though less in the case of Nexus devices.

Nope, some devices are horrendous out of the box. Samsung S1 was utterly crap, slightly fixed by 3rd party hacking.

Kernels and ROMs are both causes of stability. An improperly done rom can cause FCs up the wazoo even if the kernel is rock solid.

received my nexus 7 this afternoon, my first ever tablet got to say so far, it has being excellent!

so far, for those without casing, how do you guys bring it out? put in bag surely have scratches and knocks right?? I am planning to bring it out tomorrow, only way I can think of is to use the box as a case to keep in the bag.

buy clear film/book warping paper, wrap, cut hole for charger n speaker. done.

no issues with GPS for me, used Sygic and Google Maps to navigate for the past few days....

I hope it is a software issue because since the Jelly Bean 4.3 just launch there must be have a lot of bugs.

"International Warranty" status for N7 2013 is unclear as of now.

If follow last year's Nexus 7 policy, local Asus will accept & handle servicing.

If not, send back to USA loh...
