Makes me regret. Bought from open surface 2 weeks back @ 550. But well, its still a very good tablet that I think its worth the price I paid for.

Paying $20 more with no local warranty, reduced LTE support, but getting it 2 weeks earlier was 'worth it'?

Good to hear that bro. Mine ordered on Oct 1 and still not yet received. The tracking website on iParcel keep shown received at their place since Oct 3...I already checked with Amazon to issue a refund of order since the item MIA..Amazon asked me to wait till Oct 23, if item still not shown, then will issue a refund for me....the iParcel service really sucks...:(

take note the plan offer by singtel with the 32gb N7 LTE is NOT a 4G LTE plan (read the fine print)..

At funan challenger, 16gb WiFi at 379, 32gb Wifi at 429, 32gb lte 529.
Nexus 1 32gb 3g at 399

I thought they don't support tablets unless it has call functions like Samsung's? I wanted to install whatsapp for my son on my house tablet, and it says tablets not supported. Can someone pls confirm on this? Thanks.

Are you Sure the plan that singtel is bundling with the nexus 7 is not a 4G LTE plan? If you check the mobile broadband 75 plan, it does provide user with 4G speed. The singtel website also claims it's speed is up to 5x faster than 3G.

The fine print that talks about 3G network is for roaming...
