I think if you buy from amazon, they already assured that the items you bought will be covered by warrenty (correct me if i am wrong). My friend went to look at a panasonic camera, amazon dont ship that to singapore. The reason was either the manufacturer dont allow or the warrenty issue.

Anyway, mine is on the way to sg! yay

Hop over to the Opensurface thread, you can read a lot of info about the warranty. For N7 2013 by amazon, soft got international warranty (earlier batch), some don't have (later batches, only North America warranty, this has been confirmed by ASUS). That is why I assumed mine don't have.

should be a flat 2-pin. Bought an US set from theopensurface and it came with 2-pin and a free adapter by them

Registered my set through asus sg without checking/confirming warranty also

Just got my Nexus 7 back from repair (faulty audio jack).
They replaced the motherboard.
All is well now...but

They didn't paste the screen protector back properly T^T

So just a PSA, be prepared to buy a new screen protector after you collect your device from warranty repairs.

Jjust did a check with ASUS live chat, they confirmed my set is covered by international warranty too. Bought during BF sale.

So must we check or we just heck care and register the device from SG ASUS website?

think better to do a live chat and get a black and white first (stating your warranty is valid). I think registering probably don't guarantee anything.
