Sorry if this has been asked before, but how to buy apps and books etc if you don't have a valid USA credit card? I just got my tablet delivered to my hotel in the USA but cant seem to buy anything because wallet doesn't allow any non USA credit cards. Wanted to subscribe to some magazines also cannot..

Reuters reported that N7 gen 2 releasing in July. I would wait for that. Hopefully they have expandable storage, better screen and processor. Rumours that they are moving away from Tegra and going with snapdragon processor, supposedly will be more power efficient.

Expandable memory wouldn't be the dealbreaker in keeping costs down...

There are many "sensitive" considerations for the omission of expandable meory by Google in its Nexus line. These include:

1) Not wanting to be perceived by its Android partners as a threat/competitor, features like HDMI-Out & expandable memory purposely left out to give other brands a competitive advantage

2) Copyright issues, piracy is rampant in the Android ecosystem compared to iOS due to the open nature of Android. The microSD card is an easy way to transfer & obtain all those pirated apps, particularly those big games which are commonly pirated, hence without expendable memory it actually appeases the IP owners as it would discourage piracy to some extent.

3) Sly business decision to support Google's cloud & streaming offerings. No microSD card, harder to bring around your own music/videos collection, limited space for your documents. How about subscribing to Google Play, Google Music & Google Drive ?

hey guys
I went to track fedex and it states my nexus 7 has been delivered to my vpost address.
but when I log into vpost and click on manage packages, thenere is no packages there ready for shipping.
what should I do?

Hope someone can help - having trouble with a Singtel 3G multisim card. Sim card works fine on iPad. When I transfer it to nexus 7 it says can't connect to network repeatedly when I try to connect to Singtel. Tried adding the apn but every time I finish typing in the details there's no option to save, except the back button (which is what I read online tt pple use.) But I can't save the apn even when it use the back button. Every time I try I go back to blank apn screen. Tried home button etc, all don't work.

Restarting, power off, removing reinserting sim is no use. BUt when I borrow friends Singtel sim it auto detects and grabs apn info automatically.

Again, I know the sim is ok cause I use it on my iPad for 3G. Anyone any ideas pls?

Can try the fix (Post #9) listed on another forums:

But you will need root access.

On my Galaxy Note LTE, after keying in the APN settings I can just tap the menu button & choose either 'Save' or 'Discard', not sure how come Jelly Bean differs from Ice Cream Sandwich
