I should have just done it once I got the phone, now if I wanna unlock it everything will be reset. Sian can't use titanium backup now. :s27:
If ur not using 2.3.3, u can dont unlock to get root. Alternatively install appsmonster to backup apps in ur sdcard but rem to copy to pc.

M1 said if its faulty set, i hv to go back to samsung.. anyway, they advised that it could be my line prob so they reset my line.. so far so good..

oh dear..hope you can get a 1-1.. I know for Singtel they told me not to send in the warranty within 7 days so that I can go back

Hope M1 has such a policy too.

As an Android fan I really have high hopes for this phone. Currently I'm using Galaxy S. Can someone who own these two phones answer some of my questions:

1. Does the Nexus S lags and hangs as often as Galaxy S?
2. Is the facebook app as slow as it performs on Galaxy S?

Thanks :)

Personally I felt...

U already on Galaxy S.... Why change to Nexus S?
Ur next phone should be a duel core?

Q1. Have you root ur phone?
Q2. I think Flow Free is a faster facebook app. Just that you cant chat with tat app.

Well.. Just my tots. :)

I owned both..The answer is not worth the upgrade for the incremental improvement.

Pure Google Phone always snappy, Nexus S of course do the same...no need to install 3rd party task manager to manage the memory..For SGS..the moment internal memory running < 40MB..you will feel the lag..
