Was reading some reviews and just got reminded that the Nexus One is still less than a year old. Still feel the next phone from Google (if there's one) would be a more significant update.

CES2011 is not far away, may be a good idea to see what comes out.

Hopes utterly dashed. The CSO from bestbuy has informed me that unlocked phones CANNOT be bought online.

Looks like it's time for me to look @ other options available locally...

Anyone interested in the Nexus S? I am in US at the moment and will be back before Xmas. The price of US$529 does not includes tax (which is 10%). So looking at this, I will believe the price will be around $1100 when imported into Singapore. I will be buying from Best Buy direct. Give me a PM if you are interested.

Strange hor....last time I use Samsung S60 phone the GPS lockon very tok kong....but their Android ones all got problems.

omnia series aint getting v accurate lock oso rite??
seems like their latest batch of gps modules doesnt work properly wif their software

i'm not very sure, cause i never order, still pondering, since they say there's no warranty? but from my experience in using comgateway, the invoice number is usually sent to you after you confirmed your order, then there'll be an invoice sent to you.. there should be a number on the PDF or page.. look out for it

guys..bad news.. the Nexus S that Best Buy is selling is locked.. this is from my chat with their online help

"We will not carry an unlocked version, they are locked to T-Mobile. I know the press releases say so, but it is very locked to T-Mobile and can not be unlocked. If you want to buy without a plan, add to package, click existing customer, and then replacement phone. If you call us please call 8668132021 to place the order for delivery."
