Same here. Battery drain faster than previous OTA release version.

No random reboot issue.

I check the Battery usage, and notice "News & Weather" seems to use a lot of time on it. "News & Weather" also consume a lot of data usage, thus i set "Restrict background data" to wifi only. See how it work these few days.

I only view this apps once every morning at home, so doesn't really need much from this app. strange

After changing this app setting to wifi only, the battery life indeed can last longer.

No random reboot or unread sms issues. Hope this helps

Just got my sns today from a bro here. Running ics, one thing I noticed is that the 3g one the status says 3g only and not h unlike my sgs2 and HTC sensation. Anyone experience the same thing?? I checked the apn, everything is the same as my other phones...

Edit: speeds don't seem affected though

yup its this way, nexus only has 3G and how many bars whereas HTC and samsung ones show when ur in 'H'

Still the same, didn't work for me.

EDIT: I went ahead with a manual update instead.

I just did a manual update on my phone..root retained..however i faced one serious problem..the phone battery run flat in 12 hours comparing of 30-40 hrs on my typical usage with Gingerbread 2.3.6

Do you guys face similar problem or the battery performance improved over time..


I didnt do cache/dalvik wipe..just installed with CWM..

You can always flash CM9, there is an option to remove it. Currently CM9 alpha 18 is still very stock, there isn't much changes as they are building CM9 slowly.
