I activated my p10pro on Sunday ,I'm getting aboit 4 hours SOT ; is that normal? Not used to the lower batt life coming from a iphone 16 pro max lol
The Pixel battery continuously learns your phone usage behaviours and optimises itself. For newly set up phones, optimisation may take up a few weeks to take full effect. For best results keep Adaptive Battery and battery optimisation on.

Hope google adjust their pricing. :o

The 17 base model is good value for the specs it brings.

No brainer if you not a power user. :o

Actually depend on what are your perceived value. Hardware user wanted better specs. Software user wanted better software, others want better camera lens etc. No right and no wrong. Just pay whatever devices you like and can afford.

U too positive liao. It will definitely not increase from 4hrs to 6hrs :s13:

Based on past experience, if increase 30mins already very good le.

It's either you're a heavy user, or, I am a light user.

Anyway everyone's mileage varies. I am glad that the 10 Pro XL battery is holding up far more than fine in my case and use.

I mean battery optimization part. Yes it will definitely improve, but definitely not a heaven and hell difference is what I meant

To be objective, if we look at the pricing in sg

For 256gb
iphone 17 - 1299
pixel 10 - 1339

Iphone 17 edges out the 10 in hardware by quite abit.

The SOC alone should be miles ahead of the g5.

Yup, can tell the A19 chip is much better. Saw the benchmark as well. I think majority of the iPhone 16 user will not find much different using iPhone 17 as well.

My preference is toward the AI. I also subscribe to Gemini AI pro, probably benefit me in a way.

I come from samsung zfold 6.

subtracting the google credit, having an XL for $839 is good enough for me. I am happy to explore this phone and what it can do.

My main phone remains the iPhone 15 Pro.
