The Pixelsnap Ring Stand magnetic accessory for the Pixel 10 is already causing issues. Users complain about the screws that hold the metal ring portion to the magnetic panel being loose. Some report that the screws are already becoming undone just after using it for a few days.

Google introduced the Pixel 10 lineup last month, and the phones have already hit store shelves. The series includes the Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, besides the vanilla model. Along with the flagships, Mountain View tech giant had also introduced new Pixelsnap magnetic accessories. These are similar to MagSafe and attach to the Pixel 10 without any external case. One of them is the Pixelsnap Ring Stand, which is already running into issues, as users are reporting that the screws on the stand are loose.

Pixelsnap Ring Stand screws are reportedly loose​

Some users on Reddit are reporting that the Pixelsnap Ring Stand’s two screws that hold the metal ring portion to the magnetic panel are loose and are already becoming undone. This is a serious concern considering the screws need to be tight to provide resistance to prop up the Pixel 10. Another Reddit user notes that the screws had completely come out of the Pixel Ring Stand, deeming it useless.

One user reports that the ring stand had become completely loose. So much so that it can no longer hold the Pixel 10 up. This user claims that they’ve had the Pixelsnap Ring Stand for just two days before it broke.

The issue pops up less than a month after being announced​

The issue pops up less than a month after the accessories made their debut and went on sale for Pixel 10 users. 9to5Google reports that you can tighten the Pixelsnap Ring Stand’s screws through the T1 Torx bit. This apparently is the closest fit, but it isn’t a completely “perfect fit.” Tightening the stand makes the stand firm enough again to hold the phone up.

The real problem is that a T1 bit can be hard to get. Trusted names like iFixit also don’t sell them in kits. If you haven’t already purchased the magnetic ring stand, there are alternatives like the Anker Magnetic Phone Grip or Spigen O-Mag Ring.

heng the two screws on my ring still present and tight.

I have a type-c cable with power display, I saw a brief charging rate around 34-36W while my pixel 10 pro XL was with 45% battery level .

Pixel 10 pro is picky, my notebook 45W/65W adapter, won't even prompt fast charging while my pixel 8 pro, will show rapid fast charging .
