Does Courts still carry Pixels? I went in last weekend to get the 10 but they didn't have it. If not, is there any place I can physically view it?

I whatsapp-ed Singtel's customer support. They said the redemption details for the case will be sent via email within 4-6 weeks. Guess just gotta wait

Very off topic you mean? :s13:

Don't make @limmk cry (dunno if bots can cry :o), he meticulously maintain a thread for every phone model even those haven't launch yet one, you should read it and sayang him for his efforts.

Hi everyone,
I encountered an issue with WhatsApp verification process, and I am sharing here to see if anyone has a similar experience and suggested solutions?
I spent the afternoon setting up the Pixel 10 Pro from my previous Android, including installing WhatsApp and restoring the chats from my Google Drive. This is something I've done many times as I do swop and try new phones. However today, for the first time, all the usual verification methods via SMS, missed calls and voice calls failed. My phone just didnt receive the sms or calls from WhatsApp. I was perplexed, even after doing test smses and voice calls to my office line, which all functioned well. I rebooted the Pixel, uninstalled and reinstalled WhatsApp, turned off Wifi to use the 5G data, all to no avail.

Now, because of the frequency of failed verifications, the wait time for the next scheduled SMS is 7 hours, and for the missed call is one hour, and the voice call is 30 mins. I sent an email to WhatsApp help desk, but received automated AI replies which is stated in their replies to me.

Any advice or sharing by forum users here? Thanks.

Wah, i did not encounter this. Paging for experts on this matter.

My two cents suggestion:
  1. Factory reset phone
  2. Set up as an accountless phone (do not sign in with your Google account)
  3. Trigger system update to automatically install Sept 2025 Update (reboot phone when notified to finalise/apply update)
  4. Finally, factory reset phone once again and then set up phone with your Google account
Just remember... every Pixel has a surprise without fail - regardless of series, model, year, month, day. #pixelexperience

I still remember.... i had Nexus 6P. It died a few days past 2 years old while I attended dinner & dance. Black screen of death. Then I bought Pixel 2XL. Luckily, it is amazing and still working till today.

Yeah, I usually update all device/Google updates first before proceeding with the rest of the essential apps so can prevent any issues.

Thanks. I had done the latest security update to Sep 2025 and did a full reset before installing all the essential apps e.g. singpass, bank apps, Whatsapp. All these apps installed and set up successfully except Whatsapp. First time I encountered this. Deeply perplexed. And a little bit frustrated. Maybe hunger since it is dinnertime. Though I doubt my mood will change much if this problem persist.

Yes I concur. I learnt these steps from the shifus here, and would always do a clean reset for new devices before setting up the phone for use. Just this Whatsapp issue. Now it's tick tock tick tock and wait till the countdown for the next scheduled verification.

Sorry to hear that things didn't go as smoothly. If i were in your shoes, I would probably be livid.

I am at a loss to assist you too. You've tried wifi and mobile data. Killer part is SMS also delayed!

Try this - connect to someone's perfectly working phone hotspot and see how it goes.

I had the same issue on Fold 7 previously. The only solution was to wait 24hrs from the time you first setup whatsapp on the phone and 24hrs later, the verification should work again. Not sure whats the issue but that worked for me previously. Just wait for 24hrs.

New Whatsapp device verification nowadays could be either SMS, auto verification by device, google account or OTP from current old device... I suspect the otp/2FA was sent to your old device but you weren't aware.. that's my experience migrating recently...

Question! Did anyone bought pixel from singtelshop (official website)?

How does the trade in bonus work ah? - I need to buy the phone first then get the code for trade in then proceed to physical store to trade in and receive cash?
