HyperOS has always given me really stupid quirks like Discord suddenly hard locked to 60hz with No way of forcing it higher. This happened to both my old XM14 and my current Xiaomi pad 6S pro. The XM14 camera also doesn't perform as well as it's hyped to be in my experience. Got once the white balance changed 3 times in 3 different pics. All taken a few seconds apart

There was also this bug I experienced with Google photos where pics on the cloud appear extremely dark.

Both my aunt's Poco F7 pro Whatsapp also stuck on 60hz until I set custom refresh rate for Whatsapp in settings.

Overall just really stupid bugs. Ive never had such nonsense on pixel despite all the flak it's getting, or even Samsung

Well Pixel itself is more of a software than hardware so expected to be much better than XM. Samsung has been refining its One UI for a while, so definitely more polished compared to XM too.
XM is just transitioning to a more modern and refine OS - HyperOS, so yes I agree there's bugs and quirks which I exprienced myself too.
But possibly I will give it more time and hopefully it will be much better down the road. 🤷‍♂️

Will share my review on hyperos 3 (hopefully got os improvements) Xiaomi 17 thread soon, just gotten the Xiaomi 17 pro variant, which I believe is the best value compact flagship available currently now...
