This 12-month review of the *Pixel 10 Pro* explores why the reviewer continues to use the device despite several notable shortcomings. While the phone is positioned in a competitive market between ultra-premium beasts and entry-level options, it often fails to lead in raw specs or 'Pro' features (0:20 - 1:13).

**Key takeaways from the review include:**

**The Good:**
The reviewer highlights the clean *Android 17* experience, the excellent *Google* ecosystem integration, and the consistent, authentic quality of photos that prioritize real-life memories over heavy AI-driven processing (1:13 - 1:48, 4:34 - 5:35, 6:46 - 7:33).

**The Bad:**
The phone faces issues with battery life, thermal performance (running hot), slower charging on the smaller model, and the lack of certain 'Pro' video features. The reviewer also expresses frustration over US-exclusive software features and the persistent 128GB base storage in 2026 (2:30 - 3:15, 5:35 - 6:46).

**The Verdict:**
The *Tensor G5* isn't class-leading in benchmarks, but the reviewer argues it remains snappy for daily use. While acknowledging that the device *should* be better for its $1,000 price point, the reviewer concludes that the overall user experience is something they still genuinely love, making it hard to walk away from (3:15 - 4:34, 8:03 - 9:24).

Aiyaaaaa what is new? Part of the #pixelexperience

A few days back when I travelled to Penang for holiday... my p10pxl crashed and auto restart just before i hit the photo snap button in camera app. But heng no photos/videos were lost.

And yes, the battery drain is damn fast in Penang for some reason.... but I also have camera app opened most of the time, heh.

Has anyone tried to replace their Pixel 10 series battery from the service centre?

Anyone know is it a same day repair? Are they strict on battery replacement?

My Pixel 10 Pro XL was already suffering battery drain before the software update... 1 hour can drain almost 20%... During 1st 6 months, I was like only using 10% in 1 hour...

Speaking from experience of changing Pixel 2 XL at official service centre, it took less than 2 hrs, same day.

Ya, it is fast. That is also because there wasn't a repair ongoing when i went.

So.... hope they arent fixing any phones when you visit them. Alternatively consider to email them query whether can same day replace battery a not lor.

I see. Sure. Will give them a call since Google Pixel Support provided the service centre number to me.

Just wanna get a rough idea on the after sales service of Pixel Service Centre. Thank you.
