I've been using nexus and pixel since it's conception (current phone is pixel 9 pro) but I'm seriously thinking of hopping to an Oppo Find N6 or something next......China spyware and all...

I've been let down by the gaming capabilities and battery life through these last few pixels.

Not just hardware, software also mostly surpassed by competitors and affiliates like samsung.

Only thing left I think is the Titan M3 chip and GrapheneOS support but normal users don't really care about these.

Got maybe 11.11 so not so soon, most likely no better promo than pre-order on google store in the interval so you'll be looking at other platforms like shopee.

Edit: I mean now singtelshop has best price for preorder. But google store promo usually preorder is best followed by clearance sale before next model launch.

From past releases, post-launch offers usually not as good

Actually this time the promo if you buy the phone + pixel watch 5 on Google store is quite enticing. You can stack the pop up store 10% off on top of that too. And you'll still get your store credits for next store purchase

I edited my comment. If you want to buy on google store itself then usually preorder deals are the best, whereas price wise will be lowest just before next model launch around august next year.

Right now for pre-order best price outright should be singtelshop.

I don’t know why on earth Google thought it is a good commercial strategy to focus on very niche target segments like content creators. (Screen reactions…? Teleprompter..?)

And they are leaning heavily on content creators to push their products, which are designed, at least in part, with content creators in mind. I guess Google’s strategy is to have content creators try to sell their products to other / prospective content creators….

I trusted Google ecosystem, non gamer , balanced of HW performance with Top-notch software stability is a must. may use Gemini AI pro for a fair bit for technical research.

The only thing that pulling me back is the 240g weight, may not be ideal to walk/ exercise outdoor with a brick.

Very beautiful imo. I touched it at courts Nojima. But its pretty heavy. Lol perhaps not best for active lifestyle people like me.

Definitely more grippy than the matte black. I tested both side by side in aircon environment. Not sure if outdoor will have a difference.
