To those who claim new orders will be shipped faster than existing orders:

Google is a hi-tech company Bro..... All orders should still be on first-in-first-out basis lah.

Doesn't make sense for new orders to be delivered before the existing ones.

If so, shouldn't my order that was placed on 1st Sept reflect a delivery time that is comparable to what I get now by clicking on buy? It still shows at 30th Sept as the earliest before I cancelled it.

Also, I'm not charged for my pre-order but when I ordered a new one today it got charged. Shouldn't the order that came earlier be charged first by your logic?

Yes, I myself ordered on 11 Sep with the expected delivery date 30 Sep and after.

I will not be so kiasu to cancel my order and re-order.

Hoping to get it on 25 Sep though. Google Store, please don't disappoint me... :)

I'm not Google Store, so have no comments on this.

You must be new around here. :s13: I would show you proof of Google incompetence but it's getting old doing this in every Pixel and Nexus thread.

Google is a software company, not a hardware company. Don't be too optimisitic about them when it comes to supply chain management, manufacturing and hardware
