Downgraded from my k20 pro 6.4" screen, so far so good. Liking the extra ease of use and when carrying around. Can easily feel the weight diff as well.

But for me, I think definitely need a case to go with it as my hands are big and sometimes it's hard to get a good holding position for prolonged periods as it's so small and thin. Preordered a dbrand casing, waiting for them to have stock.

I am currently using Mi 9T Pro too, very tempted to change to 4a too.

How about the diff between 9T Pro battery and camera?

Does 4a last as long?
I think 4a camera should be better than 9T Pro.

Anyway to disable the volume button from reducing the volume while the screen is locked on the Pixel? This is because of accidental presses while the phone is in the pocket.

Using the google fabric case, it's hard for me to accidentally press the volume buttons..Cos u need alot more pressure.

I see. So it’s not possible to prevent it from not registering the presses during lock? It will only reduce the media volume by default? This could be a make or break feature of ditching my iPhone for Pixel 4a lol.

I don't see myself accidentally clicking volume controls even with tight fitting jeans, I don't see why is this an issue. you probably need to get a feel on the demo set.

+1. Pixel buttons are all along more stiff to press and very clicky. I am glad they maintained it on the budget pixel 4a too

Yes, the camera is better than mi9t stock camera but with gcam the difference isn't very obvious, especially not to casual photo takers.

I'm regards to battery, the 4a is better as of now. I can safely ignore the battery % and not be shocked by the decrease when I check it again later. Have to keep in mind that my K20 pro was more than a year old and miui 12 killed my battery life about 15-20% compared to miui 11.

Thanks for yr info.
I also feel the 9T Pro batts isn't as good after the latest update. Plus I am unable to run some company apps as it says phone may have been rooted or infected by malware.

Now even more tempted after reading your favorable review. :s12:

Same actually. I got a bit fed up with the software and some apps not working as intended because it's China MIUI and Google play store not liking it.

After so many years of budget flagships from Xiaomi and Oneplus, and having to tweak them to fit my needs, I realised a proper out-of-the-box solution that just works well without tinkering is what I really needed. I don't even play games so a Snapdragon 855 is wasted on me.

But then again, time will tell if the 730G and smaller battery will suffer, especially in a year or two. For now though, I'm happy with my 4a.
