I been thinking about the Pixel 4a but with the upcoming 4a 5G on the way. I been thinking whether I should wait for the 5G version or should I just get the 4a now.

Anyone facing same dilemma now?

Understand the 5G will not be sold in Singapore. A lot of discussion on this already.

If using the rate of 80, it's bout mid 700 sg..

If going by USD$499 and using a rate of 1.4(XE.com rate is 1.38 so 1.4-1.41 should be close) and add in GST, around S$750..

I would say 750 to be close since u're going to import in perhaps from Amazon, it's fixed at USD$499..You add in forex rates from using cc and then GST, around the price i mention liao..

5G will take some time to iron out in SG.

So no point buying a 5G phone yet.

Exactly..Now all offering booster pack or something and not full standalone 5G yet, piggyback on existing 4G it seems..I will wait for Pixel 6a or 7a then look into 5G..

Wait till sg has roll out 5g nationwide then get..right now get 4a and use for the next 2-3 years.
