When I think about 4a, i keep thinking that pixel 3 will be a better deal/phone to use but problem is its aging battery :s22:

If you are just a light user or someone who uses the basic functions of a smart phone most of the time, then I think definitely no issues for you to get this

Otherwise, i don't think this phone can last long euff and you would want to upgrade to something more powerful :o

the difference between SD 845 and 730G is quite negligible bah.

4a wins in the following for me:
1) screen quality (P3 is notorious for bad display, either green lines, constant flashing, poor viewing angles, bad brightness, all which 4a doesn't)
2) "better" camera - in theory the software processing is a tad better than P3 but this is subjective
3) hole-punch display "looks" more modern than the 18:9 screen ratio of P3
4) 6GB vs 4GB RAM - this should be the biggest difference
5) battery life
6) headphone jack

P3 would be better for:
1) build quality
2) color options
3) IP68 rating
4) "faster" chipset
5) better front facing camera since there's 2 and one is ultra wide and no focusing issue like 4a

Finally demo-ed the 4a and courts yesterday, the processing time for each image takes quite a significant amount of time. Suggest you guys go try it out yourself before purchasing

I'm using a Pixel 4 XL now and the photos take some time to process after each shot too.

People like you and me who value portability, will prefer the smaller size.

Many have no issue with portability and already used to bigger screens. This group is unlikely to downgrade one.

My wife will never use a non XL anymore.

Just like if you are used to a >50" TV, will you ever opt for a 32" TV? I doubt so.

Women have handbags to keep the phones. Guys have to stick in the pocket. There is a limit on the depth of the pants pocket.

Yea, the photos on 4a took quite a while to process, noticeably slower than my alr aged P2 I feel. Adjusting expectations, still acceptable for me.

Anyway, its just processing slow, doesnt affect photo quality, since they alr capture all the data they need when u tap the shutter. Just give it time.

Your comparison doesn't make sense :s22:

He was comparing between using flagship and coming to this 4a. I was saying that coming from ip11promax, it doesn’t feel slow to me and given this price point, what to expect more? Which part of it doesn’t make sense? :s11:

If u use flagship this will feel slow

Acceptable for the pricing is quite different from comparative speed

I’m not saying the speed is the same as flagship, but coming from flagship and at this pricing, it’s really not that slow .... really acceptable performance.

My point is to remove pricing when doing the comparison. Not to feel its ok just because it cost a certain amount.
