For me, still working except i have to hold it to the transport gantry for a bit longer to do a successful scan. Seems to be normal for retail payment though.

Same before i remove play services updates..Sometimes long until i holding up the people behind..No issue with retail POS..

After remove updates, transportation back to normal..tap and go like before..

Me too i felt it slightly slower... i think we may have downgraded to a lower version that not fully optimize the tap i guess...

Google trying so hard to promote GPay but updated the software services just to break it. Very nice indeed.

Tbh until today, I have not seen any Pixel 4a user out in the public.

Pixel 4a is cheap and good AND can have unlimited high quality photos and videos stored in Google Photos.

Pleased to report that NFC detection at Mrt and bus gantry is back to normal for me.
