Unless google can produce own soc, screen etc, like samsung. Else buingy parts from other maufacturers. With low profit margin from pixels, and to save costs, provide customers low storage, rams... Hard to get the perfect specs we dreaming off ...

Google needs to start working on their own processors... Wear OS needs it badly.

For Phones, having their own processor will mean longer updates as they can plan ahead.

IMO, Apple's processors are basically only useful towards the end of the device's life.

all depends on the price.

savings against the Note 20 must be very significant since if rumors are true and the Pixel 5 uses a mid-range processor... it will be tough to spend 1K on a mid-range spec device

I'm glad I'm not the only one doing it. But I gave up a week ago when it starts shutting down at 50%. Got a pixel 3aXL. Missed the screen resolution nexus6p has. And yeap got it during the preorder and was still using the free case. Lol

It all boils down to your budget. Pixels are not value phones.

Like there will always be a market for branded clothing and bags.

If you want value, then skip the branded stuff.

The earbuds spoiled after a few months, case is still unused, had my battery change for free at Huawei after 1 year of using even though I didn't have the battery shutdown problem

I still have my 6P to control stuff at home...

It's not a perfect phone, but much better than the 6/5/4
