Some tech YouTubers already commented that they can feel the slower processing when compared to former flagship Pixel 4.

But they did say it was not terribly slow. Just slower when compared to a phone running flagship SoC + neural core

if you never use P2/P3/P4 before.. then you won't find it slow... on P3.. i can take a few shots and immediately go to photos.. and can immediately edit... tried P4a at store... take a few.. go photos and it will take a few more secs to process all the shots..

The post-processing happens even on the Pixel 4 XL.... It's just Google doing all the software magic.. There may be some difference in the processing time on Pixel 5 vs the 4, but I don't think it's a very big difference ba..

I think should be the other way round.

Anyone coming from older phones will appreciate the faster speed with P5.

If you come from P4, I think you might feel the downgrade with P5.

Why can't Google price and spec like Samsung did for the S20 FE?

Feel that for Google think their software have worth and Samsung think their software is free lol.
Google is like must allocate cost for their software so hardware is always handicapped.
Or they cap software cost making it more expensive.

For 5G bands, singtel using n1 and n78 now and starhub is using n1 but has also been allocated spectrum in the n78 band. And both are supported by GTT9Q. what nobody here knows is if additional provisioning is required on the telco side and if so if telcos are willing to support it.

I saw the video, they mentioned pixel neural was removed, which explains why the post processing takes a bit longer

Not true. It's more like wen u understand the problem then u find it slow. Wen i used my 3a, always wondered y got this y got this extra time. Then i googled n realise walau they took away pnc. Now flagship also no pnc. Really shake head

Google as android owner will price at a premium. If spec same as others, then price will also be higher. Microsoft does the same for its surface too. But maybe for laptops, ppl are more willing to pay a premium compared to phones, hence the low sales figures for Google.

Realising the P5 ultra wide isn't actually all that wide, it's 107˚ compared to 120˚ from most other phones...

Same goes to selfies camera dropping the wide angle once again from P3 dual front camera to P4 and dropping further again. But honestly P4 front camera feels weird at time because it's too wide for some situation that some selfies doesn't came out the way you wanted to.. I felt like my P2XL took the selfies better at times...
