Google's stand quite strong. Not launching here means no.

Which device did Google said no but launch here later officially?

the fact that it is included in the regulatory compliance means it was either considered or still being considered for launch in Singapore.
the link provide the facts.
You hope it doesn't launch here cos u have already vested in importing but do allow others a platform to share facts to make better decisions

No point argue about this la as this is still an uncertainty

There are people whom questioned google in FB, and they mentioned they are commited to release pixel 4a in singapore only due to multiple factors.

I think gary came from a neutral POV. He owns multiple pixel phones and he is sharing based on his experience with Google Singapore as this is how the way Google do things here.

It doesnt matter we import or wait for local. Those whom import have the advantage to play with the phone early, should the phone be released in Singapore. No point getting personal here la, as all of us have no idea whether it will be released locally in singapore and also singapore is a small market, so Google is not even interested to release the P5 and P4A 5G to singapore for the first wave and rumours point to it wont be coming to SG at all

Chill chill, while I'm one of those that ordered from clove and I did mention in one of my previous post that I find it would be bad of Google to release it here officially especially since I already ordered a non warranty export set, it would also be good that P5 would be released here officially, at least for P6, I would exercise patience to wait.

As for garychengjw, he is just straight to the point on his replies based on his experience with Google. He is an avid fan of Pixel phones, whether released officially here or not, he would still buy the next newest pixel phone, doesn't matter whether there is warranty or not.

So don't take it personally and I'm sure everyone here appreciates the information on the link you shared. Cheers and have a good day.

I don't think this qualifies as neutral POV......... so we have an official google spokesperson here??!!

imho google won't release it here.. because it's google.. but let's keep to the facts. It is included in the regulatory compliance listing. which means it can launch here tomorrow if they want to.

What u say is true, but i think this is a standard info they put for every of their pixel series too ma no? I believe those countries where pixel phones are released before will be in the list.

But well, who is the one at fault? Google lor. No us consumers. If they gave us a choice of an export set and a local set with warranty, i think this is a no brainer choice where all will go with local set with warranty even if we have to pay more for it.
