short review after 3 days with it.

1) really like the black (sprinkled with white specks). hand feel is very good. feels dense but lightweight at the same time. very good grip. intend to use as it is. and build is good on my set (no gaps)
2) speed wise, loading apps and general use is fast and smooth. only speed difference i feel is the processing of photos.
3) battery SOLID. one and half days easy... 2 days if usage not so heavy
4) VoLTE and Wifi-calling works for singtel.
5) the top speaker works very well for phone calls (loud and clear even in noisy places). But when using to watch video, the sound is very unbalance (compared to P3) and quality is like a *cough* low end redmi phone. if u game and watch video without a headset, the sound is quite crappy. but i don't use it that way so no loss. Oh I play music when in bathroom/toilet .. and for this the P5 is also ok.
6) photo quality... don't throw me off the building... is like no difference compared to P3 leh. and the front selfie photos i don't really like. if you don't post edit your photos, you may like the warmer colors on P5 better. On P3, i have to edit it to a warmer color for posting as default is very cool.

So summary. I really like the in hand feel. right size, right grip. everything else compared to P3 is like the same same for my usage. So is like replace P3 with new S$1000 upsized battery... lol

But what am I to to do with the pixel 5 clear case and 3 pcs of tempered glass - they arrived so much earlier and no use for them now.

Ya just sent email to her. Received the email that refund has been done today and to wait for few days for money to go in my debit card.

don't think would have much people bringing it in since its not officially launched in SG.

on the topic of screen protectors, would it affect any of the under screen sensor(s) and the mic?

the proximity sensor (the blinking dot) should work fine. the 3 mics (top of frame, bottom of frame and on back near cameras) are not under screen. But i suspect the already crappy audio playback will get worse with another layer of glass on top.

okok seriously, since i assume the pic is not yours (based on how you phrased your sentence), do you mind showing the gap on your set?

I just went to P2O to paste the Pixel 4a tgsp as a temp measure first. now can start using the phone. it's slightly smaller but still better than no TGSP

it would work very well cause it has the other 5G spectrums from mmwave. only downside is the pricing and also the charger la (but great for travelling when its possible!)
