From a power user/specs ***** POV, it's a midrange chip, so automatically = downgrade/crap

From a value POV, is IP68, wireless charging, extra 200mah battery worth $200 top up from 4a 5G ?

IMO, they merely got the pricing wrong.

I switched from a 855plus phone to Pixel 4a, other than a few stutters here and there, no major change to my usage.

This is more of app developer problem and not that the pixel face unlock being problematic

I suppose you're aware of the face unlock issue on it as well? Not saying everyone has it but there's people who got that issue on both phones

Quite happy with the change, coming from a Pixel 4 XL.

The 5 is smaller and actually more manageable, with a much brighter screen. Am glad the fingerprint sensor is back, not WFH and having to unlock using a finger (rather than PIN or Face Unlock) is a huge plus. Not to mention that all software that can use a fingerprint (did not work with Face Unlock) like OCBC, SingPass etc.

Very small gap on 4 corners equally. Need to squint and white background to see. Doesn't seem to be an issue (flaw).

Just got mine too. No obvious gap around the corners. The sorta sage colour looks really good!
