imho.. google's hardware sourcing/engineering/production capabilities is really shitty...

glad i got rid of P5, it really feels slow in the two weeks i was using it and I thought it was me... LOL

i doubt anyone is waiting for it to ever arrive in SG already... expensive, slow and limited availability is the theme of P5. Well done google.
Had Pixel 3. Changed to Pixel 5. It's quite a bit faster in real world despite what benchmarks say. Battery is at least double the longevity, no longer needing to worry about charging. Camera for videos is much better too.

Quite happy with purchase.

Prefer the glass feeling of Pixel 3 though. :)

i beg to differ. I went back to P3. P3 definitely feels faster in daily use for me.
ya.. pay S$1000 for better battery life and brighter screen
glad i sold it. will not miss it :D
there's always P6 to look forward to .. and for google to screw up....

consider the ram you are downgrading to on P3 if it’s me i would not even consider 4gb in 2020 .. the cost would justify the upgrades such as bigger battery, no notch , wide angle lens, 3 years of OS etc.

I also thought videos are much better on Pixel 5, compared to Pixel 4 XL, although admittedly I have not taken many videos yet. And yes I also prefer the feel of glass instead... Still can't beat the metallic feel on the HTC phones previously though. Haha

1) i have zero issues with 4GB ram...
2) I actually like the notch on the P3, stereo speakers :)
3) I place a higher priority on the wide selfie on P3 than the ultra wide on the P5
4) P3 still has a year of update.

sure.. if you don't have phone getting P5 is a reasonable choice. but those with P3 and P4 may see it very differently.

put it this way.. 499 gets you a P4a with almost the same performance as a P5. I am glad google had the good sense not to bring P5 into SG, cos it will be a total sales disaster! sure P5 has ultra wide and IP68... but for double the price??!!!

When i got the P5, i was hoping performance was one notch up from P4a and that 5G works. alas... both are only in my dreams

3rd party seller, that's why
More expensive than shopee seller!🧐
But I doubt Google will bring p5 to SG
Just seen oneplus 8t demo set at courts jurong point selling for sgd899
That's a hell of price to beat

But I eventually will get p5
Camping for sale and really need an upgrade from p2xl...

The display gap will probably become yet another classic Google lawsuit like the ones before it's predecessors.

Pixel: lens flare
Pixel 2: blue tint
Pixel 3: poor memory
Pixel 4: battery life
Pixel 5: display gap

Pixel 5 sold out so long on amazon I wonder... too little devices manufactured or too much demand? Hm

Sent from Samsung SM-N970F using GAGT

I got my Pixel 5 a few days back.

I used a magnifying glass to check for gaps and absolutely nothing at any side of the phone.

Not sure if it is anything to do with it being a new batch.

Lucky the display gap isn't across the board.. so it's acceptable.

The clips secure the display in place (3 on one side. 2 on the other. then hold down with adhesives. maybe the adhesives expand on curing to fill ... hence the gap
