I got my Pixel 5 a few days back.

I used a magnifying glass to check for gaps and absolutely nothing at any side of the phone.

Not sure if it is anything to do with it being a new batch.

That means yours is a fake!
Coz Google already confirmed the gap is part of the Pixel 5 design.... means must have gap then is real stuff.
