Any good local source to get the phone?

Does anyone know if the US version would work just as well in Singapore as the Japanese version i.e. mobile bands, Google Pay, DBS Digibank, TraceForever etc.? I presume 5g will work for neither but I really don't want the annoying camera shutter sound.

Edit: also, anyone know how to use international credit card on Google Store US? I don't need to use CGW/buyforme as I have a friend who will be coming from America but I think my Singapore credit card is not working

My US set works perfectly well for me, at least for my style of usage. Gpay, banking app, tracetogether all no issue. 5G is not important for me for now. Like most guys, it's about the shutter sound.

Carousell has quite a few and prices have gone down quite a lot. I guess clear stock bcos of new 6. Only Japan version though if I'm not wrong.

If you bought from the US, there is no local warranty right? Worst case is have to ship the phone back to US?

I did not try to confirm though.

I see, I am still having this dilemma. Whether to get JP set, which has some form of warranty or US set, which I guess has no warranty or have to send phone to US if need be.

All the sets if brand new will have warranty, just not in Singapore.
The only dilemma is whether you are willing to buy a non local set, that's all.
If you have to have local warranty, then your next dilemma will be what other phone to consider

6 months by the seller where they will "help" you send back to JP for warranty claim.

Happily using pixel 5a yielding 9 to 10 hr screen on time daily.

Having used p4a before, haptics are slightly better on p4a maybe due to its smaller form factor.

Wanted to get s21fe, but still stick with p5a for stock android, better camera, better battery life

Looking to get one of these to replace my oneplus 6. So other than the shutter sound for camera/screenshot, Japan and US set no diff? Means 5G won't work in sg no matter which set i go for? Wow may I know how did you get this unreal screen on time? Mine can last me easily through the day with moderate usage but nowhere near that 9-10 hours of screen on time.

Personally have tried playing around with some modded gcam apk, the sound can be disabled, but most modded gcam apks are for non google phones so there are some weird behaviors when using.

Have to say the battery life is really good, sometimes make me think is the battery spoilt, stayed at 100% for so long.

Still using. Think android phone hard to find 1 with such good battery life. Like 10hour sot ..

For me, so far so good. Of course there is some shortcomings from the sd765g, like sometimes can be slow etc. But in exchange for the battery life, all is good

Im still using the default gcam, dont find the shutter sound annoying for now. Using default one at least will be constantly updated.
