Google Pixel 5a with 5G

My last Google purchase from USA was Nexus 4, maybe they have updated their blacklist.
SInce then, I haven't felt compelled to buy any of the Pixels until Pixel 4a.
But 4a was available to buy in SG, so no forwarder required.

since they didn't bring in 4a 5G and 5.. it's actually only fair if they bring in 5a to Singapore market..but instead we are seeing SG Google Store like a rundown abandoned site that haven't update since mid 2020

I think there'll be a few stores that will be selling on shopee. They mentioned the price for 5a will be $750 sgd. The same store sells 4a 5g as well at $664, am considering that too..

Almost pulled the trigger on 4a 5g at $670 too, but decide to order 5a for the bigger battery and ip rating. Hopefully Google won't cancel my order. Using ezbuy address.

maybe the S20 FE is probably the best value now if don't have the touch screen issue.. So I think if able to test and got no issues probably worth it

I wanted to try my luck with the Japan Google store, but they charge an additional 4700 yen for tax. Probably not so worth it.

Will wait for more ppl to share their experiences purchasing this here.

Edit: Took the plunge and just ordered it anyway. See how it goes. About USD 20 more than US store

Edit 2: LOL delayed delivery due to out of stock. Cancelled my order.

Anyone wants to buy a pixel, but cannot decide or does not know how to choose, lemme shawe my 2 cents

If you want 90hz display rate, go for p5

If you want more ram, go for p5

If you want wireless/reverse charging , go for p5

If you want gorilla glass 6, go for p5

If you want larger screen & battery, go for p5a5g

If you want dust/water resistant, go for p5 (ip68) / p5a5g (ip67)

Notice something? yes p4a5g left in the dust, but if you not keen on the whistles and bells of p5 and p5a5g, get the p4a5g

Basically p4a5g, p5 and p5a5g, the 5g does not work in sg. soc/gpu, 128gb storage, and cam sensors same for all 3 models. with stereo speakers (except p5 with under-display speaker). lastly all will get android 12. you will get fluid android experience from all 3 models.

If money is of no concern and you die-hard collect pixel phones then no need 头痛, just hoot all 3 models

Also not forgetting that pixel 5 offers unlimited backup in photos in high quality for life. 5a onwards will eat up your Google account quota

Probably they lost out in the competition for limited chipsets, so they just do the regions they do well. US and Japan lack the low prices and diverse number of low and mid level phones that we have here
