My Mobile Network Standby seems to have gotten worse after the December update.. previously used to be about 20% when not on wifi but is now around 30%.
Has anyone found any fixes or workarounds for this?

Some potential workarounds

Among the reports, there are also possible workarounds that can mitigate the issue. For example, it is recommended to turn off the ‘Adaptive Connectivity’.

Adaptive Connectivity is a feature that automatically switches between WiFi and mobile data networks. This means that the mobile data is always on, even if Wi-Fi is being used.

If that doesn’t work, a more ‘severe’ workaround can be tried. Basically, it is recommended to do a factory reset and configure the phone from scratch, without directly transferring data or saved settings.

Had a very very similar drain (Google Fi here). Tried a bunch of items (disable mobile standby, disable 5g, etc) but in the end, a factory reset and NOT transferring data over seems to have resolved it for me. Used sms backup and restore to get texts, reinstalled all apps manually.

when i take a pic on whatsapp, the rendered pic will shift to the left

this doesn't happen when i take a pic using the camera itself

anyone experiencing this?

it's like i have to zero in first or do post-cropping. very inconvenient

This mobile network standby, I dun see it under my battery settings under system usage for past 24 hours
What I have is mobile network 26%, screen 7% and phone idle 5%

How and where do I find this mobile network drain?
Does it affect everyone?

Contrary to my initial report, network drops still happening after December update, albeit less frequent than before for me (maybe 5g helped a little? Not too sure)

The issue with the audio on the WF-1000XM4 is an odd one. When I change sources, a lot of times there's only audio from the right bud. So I have to pause the media, tap the left bud, wait a couple of seconds and then resume the media for it to play through both buds.
It's getting a bit annoying so hope they fix it.
