Really CMI this Google. The more I use the more problem popping out. Seldom do I hear normal use will result in heat issue and battery drain. This is really a master piece.

Google is the one to be blame for not supporting call over 4G. If apple camp can do it why not Google?

It;s local set but it''s a software issue, changing anything will not help. IMS service kept running in the background sucking up all the battery.

Updated to 13?

13 feels better to me.. waiting for the battery life and see

It;s local set but it''s a software issue, changing anything will not help. IMS service kept running in the background sucking up all the battery.

My Pixel 6 recently bought from Google Store also has the same IMS service battery issue despite doing a clean install...Am using Singtel GOMO. I ended up disabling IMS service and the battery life became very good.

Have yet to upgrade to Android 13 and enable IMS service to check if things would become normal

Most people just want to use the phone as it is.

Google making it's own android is making users disabling this and that, google here and there to solve problems.

Did anyone here really expected everything to go smoothly ?

Have updated to Android 13 on my P6. My experience so far:

Performance and smoothness is generally the same as on Android 12.

Fingerprint sensor - impression is that the success rate is higher now than on Android 12, though the scan time is slightly longer but still acceptable.

Battery life - still monitoring but there is no significant degradation from Android 12.

Hope this helps those who are still sitting on the fence.
