Yup, bringing it in soon, don't really have much of a choice here, since there's nothing I can do with it being in this state lol. Still, I'm surprised, after just 1 year plus, the phone just died like this. Got no dents, nothing, outside still in perfect shape.Better to just bring in to service centre to test.

My p6p just died on me... was just using it a min ago and the next moment it went black screen, totally no response to reset and forced reset whatsoever..
Been doing the power button and power button vol down key combi for multiple times...
Anyone can help? Thank you!
Gg... 2nd case this month...Bring to service centre. One post above your also faced same issue as yours - mobo dead.
AFAIK pixel 6 series phones are trash. A mid range China phone will perform better than pixel even though it comes with stock OS.Just a quick update.
SC confirmed it's a dead mobo, and I have to pay $25 for diagnostics to see which part of the mobo is dead, so I decided not to. The repair cost is as stated on their website, $475 for a mobo replacement with 1 month warranty.
Although SC agreed that the phone is still physically in great shape, no dents/cracks/chips/water damaget at all, but still, they couldn't tell me anything more other than the fact that the mobo is busted. Also, they did mention a lot of Pixel 6 and 6 Pro have been sent in to repair, so I guess I'm just one of em lucky ones.
I'm writing in to Google Support, though at this point, I don't have high hopes. Backup your Pixel guys in case one day it decides to **** on itself, just like mine.
Idk if this is just a Pixel 6 problem, but at this point, I'm really dissapointed in the Pixel series. Even Chinese phones can last wayyy longer than a mere 1.5 years.
Kill switch built in.... Force user change to new phones if sales figure never hit...Google ask people to upgrade to 7a![]()
That's why pixel 7 was out so fast. 6 got to much issues. My $300 phone are more enjoyable to use than p6p.Google ask people to upgrade to 7a![]()
Ah.. I must be blind that I didn't see the post above..Bring to service centre. One post above your also faced same issue as yours - mobo dead.

Just bring it in to the SC bro. We really cant advice much. Let them do the diagnostic and see what is the cause.Ah.. I must be blind that I didn't see the post above..
Mine is also just 1.5yrs! How "coincidental"?????? I just did a restart few days back and there was a system update as well.. this is totally frustrating as I switched from Samsung to Pixel with such high hopes!!
I've just charged to 100% before the phone died on me. Did try charging and the phone didn't even turn warm whatsoever.. can it not be battery problem? sigh..
Tensor might the the cause... The heat it generated might have caused the short lifespan of the components insideHihi,
Did you hear back from Google Support?
Mine is totally well protected as well.. I'm really disappointed.. and I have no backup cos not enough storage..
I thought I could use it for at least 2yrs.. and agree that China phones can use way longer than that.. have Xiaomi still going strong after 3yrs..
I can't imagine paying $4xx for a problem not caused by user........ my phone is still in immaculate condition and I'm considerably a light user....Tensor might the the cause... The heat it generated might have caused the short lifespan of the components inside
Try bang table bro. Hopefully can fixed foc. It is unacceptable for me alsoI can't imagine paying $4xx for a problem not caused by user........ my phone is still in immaculate condition and I'm considerably a light user....
Wtf??!! At this price i rather top up a bit for p7 or p7p with 1 year warrantyHas anyone done a mobo replacement at the service centre? Do they really replace? I went and they quoted me 521 with just 1 month warranty
