what was the reason for removing headphone jack? to sell wireless earbuds?
If you can't use your existing 3.5mm earphones, Apple don't give convertor or lightning earphones, the next logical step would be to buy Airpods, right ? 😉

What would be the p6a specs be like? 🤔
The only thing I know is they will use plastic back, any other things they cut away to make the phone cheaper?

In case any one wants to use for reference. Last year Canada was cheaper. :(
If this is true, I will get P6 base model 256gb when it launch here. Price is reasonable, best of all cheaper than s21+ :o

I want big screen but the pro got curved screen. V difficult for sp and watch YouTube the edge get 'eaten away' v turnoff :( why can't they make flat screens for all...

A reason cited, which I remember, was that the 3.5mm headphone jack taking up space in thin body of phone. There was a time that the phone manufacturers were making the phone as thin as possible, and this was a sacrifice. Afterward, this just becomes a trend not to have the headphone jack even when the phone body becomes thicker for some models.

The real reason is to get people to buy the wireless earbuds, simi take up space is all excuses. Same as no wall charger, simi environmental friendly is excuses.

It's all about $$$

Agreed with the "Removal of Headphone Jack due to space constraint" being an excuse.

Since there are very little phones with Headphone Jacks at this moment.. the solution for wired lossless audio would be to rely on these portable USB DACs + AMP Dongles which connects into the phone's USB-C port:
https://hifigo.com/blogs/review/usb-dac-amp-dongles-reviewed-and-ratedThey can also drastically improve sound quality in terms of soundstage, tonality and presentation.

Wow sd780 will be a lot slower and laggy right, then don't want le

The biggest deal breaker for me is 6" screen, cannot stand any phone smaller than 6.4". Duno why people want small phones, play game, view map or watch content also jialat

I think it depends on your use case. Small phone easier for one-handed operation and easier to store away. Good for those who mainly use it as a ....phone.

My issue with wireless bluetooth audio is the latency with games.

..and also to remember to charge it...

Budget friendly phone no choice unless really have a tensor a-series soc. may not have fancy magic eraser /motion mode. likely stick close to p5a5g specs (6gb ram) but with p6 camera bar design

Everybody has different preferences.
That's why even iPhone now also have different sizes compared to back when they stubbornly stuck to 1 size fits all.

Maybe they can follow PC chip makers, those lower grade chips just throw into A series.
Then we can at least enjoy Tensor features on a " mid range SoC "
