No I've bad experience from all this shitty shop
Change broken display and got a-grade display, colour is not led and wash out, after change also phone easy heat up

CDTI is pixel authorized repair shop, I learn from this thread also

+1. Never visit bugis beng kia shop again.
Replaced my pixel 3 LCD screen and after 2 months, noticed why my front Cam when taking pic is blurry and found out got fine dust leaked in.

also the size of p6 is already very big and heavy - 6p is giant haha.

just received my matte screen protector and cheap cheap china casing - all in 10 bucks from AliExpress
very functional case - good enough for me.
the tp glass also working very well with fp reader.

with the design and weight of the phone - i think no casing can provide enough protection one lah.
if drop sure chui one.

Hi! I got a question on buying the P6 from either Qoo10 or 5Cgo that I hope someone can help with.

Apparently the Qoo10 is a US-set and has only US warranty, which is pretty much useless if my phone spoils within the year. The phone costs $899.

The 5Cgo has a shop warranty, where I can return the set if it is faulty within the year. The set is from Taiwan and costs $1199, which is almost $300 difference.

Can I ask whether there are major differences between the Taiwan or the US set in terms of the telco bands...etc? Also, if the SG version eventually launches here, does that help with repairs? Like if I pay a sum, can I get the phone repaired locally?

Honestly speaking. If you are worried about warranty. You should not be looking at overseas phones, period. Shop warranty is not an answer either. Today they will help you, tomorrow they close down and still tell you you are on your own.

Tbh, pixel 6 is not available in SG yet for the moment. And the fact that you are worried about warranty issues, just dont get the phone.

Even if the phone is officially available in SG, the repair service may not be able to repair the phone that you bought from overseas for you. Even if you pay for it. Not all pixel 6 phones in each region may have the same part/part numbers that work with SG pixel 6 (assuming that Google officially sells it here). They would not wanna be liable to damage your phone by replacing parts that they do not have or compatible with it.

This dont just apply to Google. Other brands also.

So imo, if you are worried with warranty. Pixel 6 is not for you now. Till it is officially launched in SG then get it in SG then.
