I think this is Android 12 problem but can someone try to install iroad (last updated Nov 2021) from app store? Is for car cam usage. I cannot install this on both 4xl n 6 Pro running A12 but my 2XL with A11 is able to. Thanks.

It means the app has not been updated to work with Android 12 yet.

My camera on OP8 pro was faulty and getting really annoying. Hence I decided to change + I've been a pixel fan, owning every iteration from pixel 1 - 4 except 5.
If you are okay with your camera on OP8 Pro and can live with a 7.5/10 camera quality. I would say it's not worth it. OnePlus 8 pro warp charge is something I really miss. I would only consider the camera as the real upgrade. OP8 pro is still gives me a better user experience at the moment with a more thoughtful and usable UI
Pixel SG is missing out on a lot of things like Google Assistant voice typing on text messages and 5G.

Hi guys,Singtel user here, anyone having issue with the signal drop and stays at low signal status and does not recover to full signal ? only solution is either power on / off the phone or turn on / off flight mode

Pixel 6 pro user here,already set to preferred network as LTE , disabled allow usage of 2G from network settings

Voice typing using text message works. In fact, I'm using voice typing on this message now

Yea. It works. But it's the normal voice type that is available on all Gboard and all phones. Pixel is supposed to have a "Google Assistant - voice typing..but it's blank out"

You can access it via your keyboard settings --> voice typing --> assistant voice typing

I think it's either only available on English (US) I can't seem to get it to activate.

Woah nice! I saw this and tried is as well. But still cant. I use voice typing frequently and it works fine as well. Just that not as smart and no punctuation I guess. Lol

Day 5, (past 4 days have been around 4.5 -5hrs SOT with me charging the phone once a day to around 96% ish)

Took the p6p out for some intensive shootings + processing with my 2 kids this afternoon.

-left the house at 10.50am with 95% battery
-back home at 6pm ish batt at 32%
-did some processing and whatsapp strength reporting to the family chat and stuffs
-19% by 9pm with 3hrs 30min SOT
-to be fair, it was an intensive day
-optimally I wish the battery will be at 40% or at least 30%+
-reason being is that back in normal days if I am out for business trip with roaming (which is more battery intensive), the phone will likely die on me by slightly more than 1/2 day

Now to the imaging side:
-p6p is the king of HDR and scenery shots (especially those challenging contrasty scene)
-shutter speed/snappiness is great (more so than s21U & iPhone 12 pro) as I am surprised with the number of usable shots VS the action packed scenes of my 8 & 5 YOs in the MBA convention center kidztopia ballon castle
-'face unblur' is unfortunately automated with no ways to control, some photos just mentioned it was face unblurred... I supposed this contributed to the number of usable shots? IDK honestly as there is noway to control

-Video is pretty good imo and the cinematic pan is so smoooth (I am not video eccentric so not that particular but I felt that it is in the same league as iphone's)

-it needs some tuning on the close single human image side of things though, the contrast and lightings on a single face felt off (no issues with >1 or group shots)
(i am not using portrait mode as the cuttings/separations is wonky and the artificial bokeh is too fake for my likings while X70p+ 's is so good)

-in my opinion, if you can carry 2 phones for shootings in 2021,
(I mean vs a mirrorless camera & 2 to 3 lens. While the camera setup's prowess will totally thrash a phone's in the right hands, it will be way heavier and stop the photographer from joining in the fun) ,
go with:

1)Vivo X70p+
-king of portrait shots
-low lowlight shots
-stable lens-flare-less video

2)Pixel 6 pro
-scenery
-contrasty shots
-video is just as good and with better noise/wind cancellation mic

and you are all set to freeze and immortalize all those awesome moments!

I suggest don’t use the default screen on to monitor exact SOT per day.. not accurate. Week 2 of p6 average sot using accubattery to monitor hits close to 6.5 hrs with 12% remaining at end of the day and mostly on 4G.

Maybe can try clearing the cache and get the beta for both apps

U need to change the language to English (US) first and removed the secondary language, then the voice typing will not grey out as the Google support page note mentioned works for English (US) and certain languages. After enabling it, u can then change the English to whichever u like, add back the secondary language.
Getting the Assistant voice typing to work is a bit on-off for me, need to try a few times before it start listening and type out what I said..lol..
