Yes, the battery just meh. Not great and not the worse. Standby time can be draining depending on connectivity strength.

Even my 2nd hand pixel 5 just bought last week, phone size much small but battery life give a big punch. Drain way lesser than 6p.

I now used to charge my phone up to 80% and avoid dropping less than 20%

The battery on the Pixel 6 Pro really quite disappointing. I'm also getting 4-5 hours SOT only. Not on a 5G plan and 5G turned off too.

Enough for a full day on weekdays when working, but not enough for weekends. Kinda spoilt by the iPhones.

Where r u guys seeing the SOT for accuracy? From battery status or Digital WellBeing page? The current SOT in Battery page is only for past 24 hrs whereas WellBeing is showing for the day itself.

When is not charging, you have to add up the sot hours by hours to get the actual sot.

Have to manually add up... The columns in the bar graph within the battery settings. You can click those to see screen on time for the various time brackets.

I’m on P6p.
I charged to 96-98 ish generally and will charge by 20%.

I believed that pixel is manipulated on the battery % presentation side of things, as in:
-(I’ve charged P6p to 100% on 2 occasions) for 100% to go 99%,
-time taken is around the same of 95% —>89%
-that top tier max charge 1% = 6%++ of non max charge

Turn off adaptive charging, I did.

observation is that it speeds up overall charging time. 50-60min From 20% to around 95% (thats alike s21U’s which is ok compared to FX3p’s 15-20min which is a bit of an overkill vs battery overall lifespan)
Sweet spot imo is like huawei’s m40p or p50p’s 35-40ish min.

With adaptive charging on, it’s around 1.5hrs+ from 20 to 95%
Which is bluntly unacceptable but it made sense if you’re leaving it to charge overnight and it should be for that purpose.
