Hello people, is anyone experiencing blurry/ grainy front camera on the p6p? Did a quick search on this thread but nobody seem to have this problem so far.

Grainy front facing selfie camera is a norm for pixel that's before taking the picture

Yea but my tpu screen protector is properly aligned and has a cut out for the front camera. I realised that in low light, it's super blurry and grainy even after it's processed for videos, it's worse cos what you see onscreen is how the video is saved.

I've panic-trawled the webs and realised that yea pixel process the photos after it's captured and its usually alright. For selfie videos tho it's just as blurry as I see onscreen and it processes to a more... Processed blob with smoother blurred edges.

Yea, should be normal, mine's grainy especially in low light env. Shld be just due to P6's shitty front cam tho, I wldnt say it's an issue. I do also notice some really nasty lens flare, like that little bright dot in the picture.

Wow, didn't think of that, great workaround, though it doesn't work in every scenario, especially in shots with more complex backgrounds. Mine is mild, so negligible. I've heard people on Reddit have some success of mitigating lens flare by applying a skin over the camera visor, haven't tried this.

I feel magic eraser is very similar to the tool Heal on Snapseed? So yea it wouldn't work on complex backgrounds such as foliage areas.

The front facing camera is a pain if you're someone who does videocalls I guess, because it makes you look like a potato

Also I found this! Not sure if it means the potato issue is software solvable but I really hope an update would help!

I use a dbrand skin over the camera visor and can confirm it “solves” the flaring. Haven’t faced the issue since I applied it

Same for me. I am not a power user or gamer, just need bang for buck SoC that sips power.
I too prefer smaller phones but accepted the increasing likelyhood that they will be phased out eventually.
Luckily, my Pixel 4a is still going strong.

Compact Size + Lightweight = Best
Compact Size + Heavy = Why !? They put extra weight inside is it ?
Bigger Size + Lightweight = Acceptable
Bigger Size + Heavy = Not interested with a brick in my pants pocket

What settings did you use? Looks good this pic.

More light setting u put none, night scene or flash? Or any other settings?

I used stock GCam on Night Mode, no change in any settings, no edits, just point and shoot.

P6's camera is simply incredible, shots taken are stunning, even in low to no light env.

All taken around 8-9pm. Also, haven't tried P6's astrophotography mode, got to try it out in the future.

If you searched the thread, the international warranty is case by case basis. If they reject your claim you can't do anything about it so import at your own risk. No one here will guarantee that you won't get rejected.

Thanks. I'm pretty confused.. I read on androidcentral saying need 65w with PPS yet Aukey Official Store told me 30w PD charger is good enough. Can any kind soul advise on which charger enables fast charging on Pixel 6.
