Maybe you can check in "setting > app > special app access > devices admin app" if the Nova app is enabled?
You misunderstand my headache, maybe let me explain it another way. You know sometimes anti virus scan give you negative result, wrongly identifying a normal file as a malware or virus. The new Android privacy dashboard is doing it's job by keep reminding me that Nova is able to read my device which is required for some of the gestures features like lock screen or double tap. Everything is working as it should be. What I want to know if there's any way to tell the android system " yeah i know, stop bothering me about it ? "

Many thanks for the clarification.

If I understood correctly you mean you saw the following screenshot alert?

Then perhaps check in your "more privacy setting" at the bottom option > accessibility usage like below?

Yup, I know all that, not my first time using Nova. All I want is for Android to not remind me again. I guess there's no setting for it yet.

fingerprint still by luck ! latest software.
it works well on my left thumb but not so much on my right thumb. Sometimes I feel like it is partly due to the screen (my tempered glass) being too slippery and the way that stock android program their fingerprint sensor which cause it to seems like it fail more than my previous phone.

Was having this stupid problem for the longest time.

But the latest patch improved/fixed(?) this issue for me. But I also did a few other things.

When registering the fingerprint, I registered the meaty portion of my thumb. At first, I was registering the edge near my fingernail because its more natural for me to press near the edge when i hold the phone. This led to a success rate of 1/3.

Second was the consciously force myself to press with the meaty part of my thumb instead of the edge near my fingernail. This is really a pain in the ass because it is hard to change a habit. After a month or so I more or less have gotten used to it. Now my success rate is about 9/10.

I suspect the tap to wake function may also be affecting the success rate but purely my speculation.

Slightly off-topic but when I went on holiday to a cold country with the phone, my success rate dropped to 3/10. I'm not sure if its because the lack of oiliness made it hard to read the fingerprint, but this really pissed me off so much that I had to revert to a pattern unlock instead.

My experience with pixel 6a ba....hope yours gets sorted out soon too.
