At that time I used MR line for Calls & SMS and TPG for Data only, so can't say if it works with voice app or native dialer. I recently switched to MR 5G eSIM plan which is riding on Starhub network and use it for Data/Calls/SMS hence no longer reply on TPG for data. The physical slot I now have a RedONE line for use in Malaysia.

Try rebooting the phone and then using the recorder app to record your voice. If unable to capture any sound , probably microphone spoil. Go CTDI service center to fix if still within warranty.
