This is plain stupid artificial segmentation if true.
Based on what has been leaked, it will most likely be using Tensor SoC which I have no doubt can handle the above 2 features which is mostly software tricks.
Tensor but old sony sensor = bad combo

They need to sell below ( at least close to ) A52S / A53 price point else it will be DOA.

Lol like Apple se, only upgrade the soc without much improvements
I'm disappointed too but have to hit price point somehow. That's how Apple is able to sell a "budget" iPhone by reusing old parts. Else, the only way is subsidise via phone ads like Xiaomi ( e.g. Poco F3 )

Pixel 6A better be lighter and significantly cheaper, otherwise might as well just buy Pixel 6.
Really wished they went for Pixel 4a 5G size or smaller.
