Hi, I just got a pixel 6a sage and got a question:

Is it possible to wake the screen up by using fingerprint scanner to bring me directly from sleep state to home screen?

I can't seem to do it....

At the moment I have to:
1) press power button or
2) lift to wake screen (enable under gestures) or
3) tap screen to wake (enable under gestures)

then I proceed to use fingerprint to unlock screen.

any other way to wake screen directly by using fingerprint without the above 3 steps?

thanks for your advice.

Also ok. As long as got some form of cloud storage, 128gb should be enough. But still it will be good to give us flexibility though as not all has cloud storage
that's true.. but it makes a good investment though

Just enable tap screen to wake. It is seamless. Been doing that for my Pixel 4 XL.

If you are going to get the 6a, it's really not because of the screen refresh rate, given that this is considered 'mid-range' phone.

60hz is normal to any phones. If you guys make 120hz something of a norm, then you guys can never 'downgrade' to another model and always stick to the high refresh rate, which is limiting if touch wood one day 120hz got deprecated or temporarily reduced down.....even though I understand 120hz can feel like a norm nowadays and in the future....

Think just have to manage expectations for the other aspects that entice you to this phone and form factor or whatever :)

I understand what you are saying.. but screen refresh rate is very important to me.. one of the most important actually as the screen is something I interact with every single time I pick up the phone.. .. but I guess they cannot put 90hz on the 6a if not noone will buy the 6 already..

I can't go back to 60hz... So many good phones around the corner no need to cash in first.
