I just googled. Factory reset doesn't wipe updates. Only data. So theoretically, fresh install after the update should work...oh wells

Giga dont support VoLTE on Pixel 7 series zzz. Not sure if they ever will.

VoLTE / VoWiFi works on my iphone 13 pro on giga, and i even get 5G signals on my iphone 13 pro (for free since i did not pay for the 5G add on). not sure if i can still get 5G signals on my P7P

p7p cant 5G on giga. not in the list of available devices. sad.

u can use back those wall charger with multi ports supporting quick charge. this should be enough.

no need to use the official google 30w charger.

1) got my Pixel 7 from jewel yesterday. Redeemed a Charge 5. Lemongrass flavour.

2) got a Pixel 5a 5G tempered glass as a temporary protection. Sadly the fingerprint scanner would not register my prints. Even after updating to Oct patch. Still can't work. Even with different fingers. So I think it's the glass

3) feels cooler than my old Pixel 6.

4) can't seem to get 5G at my office area. On Starhub. Will try out different areas and observe the connection.

5) so far so good otherwise.

4A Tempered glass on my 7pro no problem for fingers. The only problem is 4A TC is much smaller...lol.... temporary....

Anyone feels that the fingerprint sensor on the 7P is blazing fast? I keep reading that the sensor is slow but in my experience it's just as fast as the ultrasonic one on my Samsung S21+.

Yup, nice and smooth. Not as terrible as P6Pro. Still not as fast as a S22 tho.

Anyone facing issues with Singpass app on Pixel 7 Pro?

Yes. It stalls at the facial recognition. According to Singpass help desk, it is an issue with Android 13. Works fine on Android 12

Yup, nice and smooth. Not as terrible as P6Pro. Still not as fast as a S22 tho.

I actually find the fingerprint scanner on Pixel 6 Pro quite ok. And it has reportedly been improved over time with software updates. Are you comparing to the stock Pixel 6 Pro as shipped or one with the latest software installed?

I’m actually curious how the camera compares on the 7 Pro vs the 6 Pro. If difference is marginal, may not be worthwhile getting the 7 Pro.
