Not gonna lie, it is a tad 'laggy'. Regardless, I can still tahan the UX, and it still serves as a very reliable backup phone if anything happens to my daily driver phone.

I am still contemplating the pixel 7 pro purchase... i might say it is especially difficult to find a good reason to "upgrade" to the newest phone when my 4a has been reliable. While on the other hand, Apple 14pro max is tempting as well.
I'm still using it as well....

You compare what you like of the 7 Pro vs 14 Pro Max then see what comes out of it.

Yes debit card on Gpay. The same card i use for my previous phone Oneplus8pro.
Physical card tap can work. Just when add the card into Gpay and tap not working.
Have not try other cards yet need find if i got other card can use for Ezlink. Or any CC also can use Gpay for transport ?
Yes i registered the debit card with simplyGO already.
I believe any cc can use with gpay for transport. And there is no need to register with sinplygo

Escalated.

It is likely a bug on the software. Cause as you can see the RSSI level for the current 5G in my house is at -101dBm. By right on other devices it should be full bars. But on pixel it just seems low.

However it is strong signal. But just not reporting the correct "bars".

Downloading etc is as per normal, 700Mbps down, 30Mbps Up.

The annoying part is it has the tendency to change to 4G as to the pixel "it thinks it is on low RSSI. Change to 4G for better reception.

As you can see on the next screenshot. 4G on -103dBm. But the reception bar is full.

Now that you mention it, I do remember seeing SimplyGO after tapping.

But yes, I just register into my GPay and that's it. It's an automatic tied-up feature from GPay with Singapore local SimplyGO. So it works off the bat. Do not need to register with SimplyGO at all.

The process of each card is, when you add to your Wallet, it issues a virtual card id/number and they use that to pay. Not using your actual card's number.
I recall when tapping, it just shows bank card

I previously posted about fingerprint sensor issues with my Pixel 7. Although re-registering fingerprint temporarily solves the issue, it was still very flaky and I wasn't the only one facing it.
It is now a known issue, according to the support forum.

Any 7P users facing this?

so far I haven’t encountered this on my 7p.

I did encounter it on my 6 though. It was a pain in the a$$

am still sitting on the fence... can I ask some daily-usage questions about p7 pro?
- is it true cannot double tap to wake up phone? don't want to waste battery by turning on always-on-display.
- is battery charging by quick charge 3.0 at 22.5W possible? I don't need super fast charging but cannot accept if it's too slow either.
- normal usage (not a gamer) can last one full day? I tend not to charge beyond 80% to protect battery life so if morning 7am start from 80% what's the likely % left at night say 7pm?
- are there any quirks that are unique to pixels?

and how do you guys protect the easily scratched chrome surface of the camera bar? even slap on a case also won't prevent the surface from scratches (e.g. by keys or some accidental contact with metal items).

many thanks... am thinking it's time to retire my 2.5 years old oppo find x2 pro.

Hi. For those of us who bought the pixel 7 pro from Amazon, any idea how and when to redeem these Amazon vouchers? I was hunting high and low at the website, like there is no customer service email or whatsoever to ask....

I am using a 7 pro. Never encountered any finger print issue at all. Face unlock and finger print all fast and good..
