Is 5G worth the upgrade? I'm still using 4G plan under Vivifi. Didn't notice any lag, (except in lifts 😄) .

If can get 5G + 10GB per month for $7, will you take it?

For $7 or for additional $7?

Not worth for me, 4g coverage is superior and fast enough for most if not all usage scenarios.

this.. 5g is just a waste of money and battery life.. with 4g already can stream YouTube, Netflix, Disney+ at max quality without lag..
Yah, That's what I was thinking. Also, the potential of 4G was never met, and now they are upselling 5G.

Wondering if anyone has come across this issue. Sometimes when I swipe up for the menu, the app icons look faded (as though I've not released the swipe up motion - see 1st pic), and when I return to home screen and swipe up again, icons look normal (2nd pic).

But even when it looks faded, the app icons can be pressed, so it's not like the phone is 'stuck' in the swiping up motion.

My animations are all turned off.

Any advice would be appreciated 👍

Hmm. Mine's ok. Only faded if I haven't release. Once release then become solid colours le. I have animations on though.

Yes glad someone noticed. Is due to the off animation. It didn't render completely.

5G to me is a premium to pay. Ask yourself, do you really need 700Mbps down 30Mbps Up? What do you really wanna do with that much radio bandwidth allocated to you?

4G if good conditions you can go up to 200Mbps Down and 30Mbps Up. With laid back areas or in residential 90Mbps Down and 10Mbps Up is possible.

The problems are not the speed given. The problem is how much more you willing to pay for 5G? Is that what you really need?

Truth to be told, 5G is still far from optimal. There is so little 5G in building coverage. Phone takes up more power to stay connected. Yet the call quality (assuming from Samsung VoNR) is still not good yet. Yet it is spotty kind of latency. I don't see how 5G will be great for now. Not until at least another year or 2.

Carousell flooded with these. As at time of writing, there are over 80 listings of brand new Fitbit Charge 5 with lowest asking price $108 now.

If anyone’s looking to buy right now, I think Courts Online’s upfront $100 discount is better. :) Save the hassle of posting on Carousell, dealing with potential buyers, and having to meet up to deal.
See if can combine the online discount with the physical store free fitbit charge 5 promo.
