Actually I don't really know why people will really come here and ask about overheating chip.

Honestly I'm very happy that it may not be the blazing fast SoC like sd8g1 etc. Even on the GPU side of things. But when one really game on it. They don't throttle like mad. That is what it counts. Don't go around chasing numbers. Just use what it is for and enjoy it.

Truth to be told. This pixel 7 pro, gave me some impressive an hour long worth of gaming with very minimal stuttering or throttling. The last time I had such experience was during Samsung s6 era. These days SD SoC is just going for speed, whether the phone manufacturer will use proper cooling or not is another secondary issue.

Because social media and word of mouth. When you repeat the same stuff enough times, it must be true. Like wise, if you search the issue and find people who have the issue as you, it must be a common issue. I have long grown tired of explaining, now I just let such people carry on believing what they want to believe.

btw heaeed user say pixel got overheating issue is it common?
Coming from a S10+ user.

It heats up much less than a Samsung. Mine doesn't even heat up. Battery life better than a Samsung. Will last you more than 2 years unlike a Samsung. Even if it doesn't, Battery only cost $88 for replacement. What do you think?

The bloatware is the issue. Too much background activities.

Yup I decided to purchase the same thing as you.
Ok I finally got the taobao uv screen protector. It was easy enough to apply but I screwed up the side a bit because of my itchy fingers. Decided to leave it be. My god it's great for it's price, the install kit was pretty useful too.

Sides got a bit of hardened glue spill out. Instead of just using a hairdryer to soften and remove it, I go and use nail peel off. End up damaging the application. Now the left corner look like sai.
NOOOoooooo.... :( :poop:
