Tbh irrc Snapdragon 870 was the last good SoC until the 8 Gen 2 finally broke the trend

U are on SIM-only right? port over to other providers to try out - e.g Starhub, Giga....

Will be better for you to switch to Pixel 7 Pro if u are more into the vanilla android experience, the camera... basically that's it.

Otherwise, wait for Pixel 8 pro

Battery life is disappointing and very prone to heating up - be it playing game and stream youtube.

Thinking on bright side, it can be a handy heat pad in the pocket to warm the balls during cold days... =P

how hardcore of a user you are?

Do you need 7 hours of SOT or just lightly text and message.

The battery is good enough for 1 day usage if you are not glued to the screen non stop.

Can confirm this is good.

One nitpick is the sides if don't cure long enough will have some white edges. Dunno is if glue not enough or not enough UV light.

Just want to share that even though the camera on Pixel 7 Pro is v good, it does tend to miss crucial shots, esp when you take few photos in quick succession.

The shutter button will be greyed out and refuse to snap pics until the earlier pics have finished processing in the background. I notice this happens a lot when taking photos in difficult and low light environment, probably the processor have to process more, and cannot keep up with the load.

Take a pen knife, and touch some excess glue and feed it at the edge, the white empty edge will be gone.
