Pixel 7 will receive updates for at least 5 years whereas Pixel 8 will receive updates for at least 7 years if this matters to you.

Installed the OTA Dec 2023, it took approximately 1hr+ for full installation.

Noticed some changes... but one jarring observation on my phone is that it operates more like a 90hz display than a 120hz display. Already rebooted the phone a couple of times, still about the same.

I hope it will magically go away after a day or two.

Anyone has this issue? After the Dec update it's no longer showing LTE, but 4G
I don't experience slower speeds but this visual (?) change is bugging me for now. My preferred network also only shows 5G, 4G, 3G

it's not an issue. It has always been 4G for the rest of the world. Only USA need to use LTE because they have fake 4G network and they finally come to terms with it. If only now they would show some common sense and start using the metric system too.

I am using Zym as well and it show 4G instead of LTE as well.

Strange leh, been to SEA (Thailand, Malaysia) and Japan this year and never seen 4G until this new update
