Hi folks,

Pixel 7 seems a bit particular about the kind of charger and cable used.....

Tried a few different combos which worked for Huawei P20 and other phones, but when plugged into Pixel 7, won't charge at all.
Even Huawei original also cannot.....Pixel 7 can detect China-branded charger/cable ah? lol

Any idea on the minimum specs for the charger and cable?

Look for PD capable. All those China QC dun usually work

Both charger and cable. Cable needs to be take in the wattage, if not it wouldn't draw enough power for the fast charging.

I got the 65W so I can charge my laptops too. If your laptop is the heavy duty kind, then you'll probably need 100W

My cable was a non branded one, bought from Japan. 2m for ¥400. It advertised as 65W and it works. Can get the more "prominent" brands like Anker, Ugreen, etc

I just changed to Simba 5G plan for the first time, and realised there's no 5G icon shown on the phone. Using p7p.

I was in a 5G coverage area, and I also checked to confirm 5G was chosen under settings / network & internet / Sim / preferred network type. At the Simba service centre, they tried my sim on their phone and 5G icon was shown...

What else could I do please? Thanks in advance Gurus

Anyone having issues with added language disappear from Gboard?

Added Chinese (Simplified) but seems will disappear after overnight or something. Keep happening since day one.

My wife's Pixel 7 screen suddenly turned green while she was watching Netflix today. Not a blank green screen but just everything was in the green color. She tried rebooting but issue persists. Anyone knows how to resolve this issue?

Did you manage to get this resolve? Need to replace the LCD?

The issue was resolved after several reboot. But she says the problem usually happens when watching streaming apps (Netflix and YouTube).
I found a few posts on Reddit with similar problem; suspecting it might be a software bug on Android 14.
