Pre-ordered 7P7 on the very night it's available for pre-order. First time pixel buyer...

My friend said I'm very brave (due to all the issues that plagued P6 and P6P in the initial few months) lol. But I really don't wanna wait longer since my current 4 yr old phone is running out of storage and ram (still usable actually, just slow). And just nice I see the $250 Google voucher... Can use it for Google buds pro later on.

Preorder liao then read up more on the (slow) charging "issues" for pixel 6 series... Not a deal breaker for me, but can I ask existing P6 or P6P users what kind of portable power banks would you recommend so that the phone won't charge abysmally slow on the go?

And any wireless charger to recommend? (No need fast wireless charge... Just something compatible and can charge P6/7 series can liao) ...

Agar agar calculations for those who wanna squeeze out the most discounts. Shopee 10/10 Google voucher cannot be used to buy Pixel as Pixel 7/7P are not included in the available products, only 6a and the other Google home stuff.

Think moi will just go with Amazon since the Shopee coins you have to spend way more than $40/$70 in order to utilise the full amount and their coins expiry is much earlier.

5000mAh battery and using a wireless charger it gonna take u a super long time to charge. Can go up to 4hrs to 5hrs.

The slow charging is when adaptive charging is turned on. By right 27w the phone should be done in 1hr 40mins to 2hrs. With the adaptive charging it will take slightly longer to finish. Charging with PD PPS charger is a must. Normal PD charger will be capped at 18w only.

Ya, the wireless charging part I understand. Basically I'm only looking at wireless charging when I'm in office - just for topping up the phone as I let it slowly charge while I work.

My main complain with the non-pro P6 is the rainbow effect on the display, and the P7 demo still has it.
P7 Pro is ok though. You might want to take a look at the demo first to see if it bothers you.
It is most obvious with white background.

Ok I saw the P7 and P7p demo sets. Basically P6a also has a bit (not alot) of rainbow effect on white background under bright light.
